Well the first day at WES is over and we have a whole load of things new features to tell you about. We have seen the official launch of the new BlackBerry Pearl 3G, as well the introduction of the new BlackBerry Operating system (6).

The Hip Hop Artist Will.I.Am also gave a speech to introduce the new application DipDive, an app that promises to bring a whole new element to content sharing, especially within the realms of music, arts and comedy.
Also speaking at the event were representatives of Hewlett Packard and Ted Farrell of from Oracle, who gave an impressive display of the new application which will allow for seamless file sharing between handsets, and with a few hiccups and freezes, he managed to keep the audience entertained.
Stay tuned for more news tomorrow!

The latest news to come from WES so far is the release of the new BlackBerry phones, The BlackBerry Pearl 3G, The BlackBerry 9670 and the BlackBerry 8980. Today we will be looking at the BlackBerry Pearl 3G.
As one of the most long awaited handsets, the BlackBerry Pearl 3G is the latest attempt by BlackBerry to engage the youth market, with its sleek design and huge range of accessory options, its definitively one to look out for. This is evident from the official Pearl 3G advert. Shot in trendy Westfield’s in Shepherds Bush, West London it shows the new Blackberry handsets features, as well as the new tag line, “Carry your friends in your pocket”.

Amid great speculation on whether Research in Motion could keep up with the younger generation of Smartphone users, I think that the new BlackBerry Pearl 3G is more than capable of not only keeping up, but setting the pace. The new line of accessories released with the new handset is highly interchangeable allowing for greater personalisation, a key element in the phones marketability.
